The high school youth traveled to Minnesota to the Urban Immersion Retreat Center. The group partnered with Trinity Lutheran from Walford, IA for the service event in 2007. It is 3 days of working at various sites in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. The groups did daycare, built furniture, cooked, cleaned, and sorted items at the goodwill outlet store. The Greater Minneapolis Council of Churches is charge of the Russ Ewald center in Minneapolis and setting up projects. It is also an education to take social justice back home.
